MaryBeth’s journey with the Goddard School began from an alternate position than she currently holds; it started with her being a parent, with her own two daughters attending. This experience evoked an urge for her to be a part of offering the same positive experience as she had, to the families in our community. At this time, Marybeth recognized the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment and purchased the Goddard School of Macomb in 2009. MaryBeth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Management and also served in United States Army for eight years. She uses her leadership skills, background in business and military experience to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the school. It is undoubtably evident that MaryBeth is proud to be associated with the wonderful programs that Goddard has to offer and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool.
Mrs. Nicole holds a CDA in Infant and Toddler Education and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been a part of the Goddard School of Macomb since 2017 and has gained experience in our young classrooms. It's evident that she has a deep passion for working with young children. Mrs. Nicole's nurturing and calm personality has had a positive impact on the children, allowing them the freedom to express their individuality on a daily basis.
Since joining The Goddard School of Macomb in February 2018, Mrs. Grace has demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. With nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education and having held various positions within the field, she possesses a profound understanding of child development and a genuine passion for her work. Mrs. Grace’s extensive knowledge of Goddard practices and her dedication to maintaining a high-quality program demonstrate her unwavering priority for delivering exceptional educational experiences.
Ms. Abbey is our Lead Teacher in the GSRP Three classroom and has been part of our Goddard community for almost six years. She has always been drawn to teaching from a young age and brings that lifelong passion into her work each day. Abbey creates a structured, and engaging classroom environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. She is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and continues to grow her skills and knowledge while providing thoughtful, consistent guidance to her preschoolers.
Ms. Adrianna has been with the Goddard School of Macomb for over seven years, where she has found her home as a Lead teacher in our GSRP One classroom. She can always be found with a smile on her face, as she is a very light-hearted individual. She has always been a knowledgeable, collaborative teacher, consistently communicating with her coworkers to create the best possible environment for the children in her care.
Ms. Alyssa is our GSRP Two Lead Teacher and is in the final stretch of completing her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Now in her second year with our GSRP program, she’s known for the engaging, hands-on projects she brings to her classroom, sparking curiosity and creativity in her preschoolers. Outside of the classroom, Alyssa also coaches high school swim, bringing that same energy, encouragement, and teamwork to the students she works with each day.
Ms. JC joined us over two years ago and has quickly become a vibrant and integral part of our team, particularly enjoying her work in the older classrooms. Known for her bubbly and outgoing personality, Ms. JC is also committed to her professional growth, currently pursuing additional education in the preschool age group to further enhance her expertise and impact.
Ms. Kaitlynn is the gentle heart of our Toddler One classroom. With her calm, soft-spoken presence and natural warmth, she creates a nurturing environment where every child feels seen, supported, and safe. She builds meaningful relationships with her toddlers by meeting them exactly where they are, celebrating their milestones, and guiding them through each new stage with patience and care. Her thoughtful approach helps our youngest learners grow with confidence, curiosity, and comfort each day.
Ms. Liliana is a devoted and enthusiastic Infants teacher pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Her passion for early childhood education shines through her work, especially her deep affection for nurturing and caring for infants. Ms. Liliana's love for babies is evident in the warm and supportive environment she creates in her classroom. She is committed to fostering a sense of security and joy in the youngest learners, ensuring each child feels valued and loved. Her dedication to professional growth and excellence in caregiving makes her an invaluable team member.
Ms. Mya is our lead Bridge Teacher, where she has seamlessly integrated into the team. Known for her attentiveness and nurturing nature, Ms. Mya excels in building strong, individualized relationships with each one-year-old student. Her quiet demeanor complements her effective approach to teaching, allowing her to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Ms. Mya’s dedication and ability to connect with each child contribute significantly to the classroom's positive atmosphere.
Ms. Sydney brings a calm, positive energy to our Toddler Two classroom. Her gentle approach helps create a steady, supportive environment where toddlers can learn and explore with confidence. She is incredibly sweet with the children and loves incorporating hands-on art activities into their day, giving them plenty of opportunities to express themselves and build new skills. Her patience and positivity make her a wonderful fit for this busy age group.
Ms. Nae supports both our Toddler One and Infants classrooms with a soft-spoken, light-hearted approach that instantly puts children at ease. With experience in every classroom in our building and over two years with our school, she brings a unique flexibility and understanding of each age group’s needs. Nae’s calm demeanor, gentle guidance, and easy connection with the children help create a comforting, consistent environment wherever she’s working.
Ms. Deana is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler One classroom, working alongside Ms. Sydney to create an active, engaging environment for our little learners. She’s naturally outgoing and jumps right into hands-on play, helping toddlers explore, interact, and learn through every part of their day. Her energy, involvement, and enthusiasm brighten the classroom the moment she walks in.
Ms. Erika is part of our Bridge classroom, where her incredibly sweet nature and calm presence make her a favorite among the children—who tend to flock to her the moment she walks in. She works closely with Ms. Mya to support a smooth, engaging classroom environment and loves bringing her bilingual skills into the day. Fluent in Spanish, Erika naturally weaves language learning into routines and activities, helping Spanish-speaking children feel understood while also introducing English-speaking children to new words and cultural connections.
Ms. Faith is part of our Infants classroom, where her gentle, soft-spoken nature creates a soothing and secure space for our youngest learners. She works seamlessly alongside Ms. Lilly, bringing patience, attentiveness, and a calm presence to every part of the day. Faith has a natural ability to tune in to each baby’s needs and routines, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Ms. Gabby is our Toddler One Assistant Teacher, and she brings nonstop energy, creativity, and engagement to the classroom. She’s always on the floor playing, exploring, and interacting with the children, who naturally gravitate toward her upbeat personality. Gabby fills each day with fun activities and is regularly leading exciting, hands-on art projects for her toddlers.
Ms. Kaitlyn is the Assistant Teacher in our GSRP Three classroom, bringing three and a half years of early childhood experience and a hands-on approach to learning. She works closely with Ms. Abbey to support each child’s growth, with a special focus on building strong language and communication skills throughout the day. She is currently working toward her associate degree in Early Childhood Education, and she loves being part of our school community both as an educator and as a parent—her daughter also attends our program and is growing right alongside her classmates.
Ms. Rebecca is a valued part-time closer who supports our Preschool, Pre-K, and GSRP After-Care programs. With her calm presence and caring nature, she helps end each child’s day on a positive note. Ms. Rebecca is dependable, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand—our students love seeing her smiling face in the afternoons!
Ms. Serena is the Assistant Teacher in our GSRP classroom with Ms. Adrianna, now in her second year in the program. From the moment she joined our school, she jumped wholeheartedly into her role and quickly discovered her passion for early childhood education. That dedication led her to pursue her CDA in ECE, which she is currently working toward. Serena also supports our summer camp program and brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love for learning to everything she does.
Mrs. Bree brings over six years of early childhood experience to our school and supports several classrooms throughout the day, including Tots 2, Bridge, and our After-Care program. As both a mom and a grandma, she brings a warm, steady, and reassuring presence wherever she goes. In her role as our closer and breaker, Bree jumps in seamlessly to help each classroom run smoothly, building quick, meaningful connections with children and offering comfort, consistency, and a friendly smile no matter where she’s needed.
Mrs. Shree holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings many years of experience in the ECE field to our school. Her nurturing nature, calm demeanor, and deep understanding of child development create a warm and supportive learning environment where young children thrive. We are proud to have Mrs. Shree as part of our dedicated teaching team.
Cheryl has worked at the Goddard School since September 2013. She is the office manager and has over a decade of experience with accounting, daycare and early childhood development. Cheryl understands the importance of customer services and makes it a point every day to make all parents and children feel welcome at our school. Staying strong after12 years!
