We practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures. We provide intravenous sedation procedures in-office to ensure a safe, comfortable, and effective treatment experience for our patients. He is involved with the Ascension St. John Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Systems as well as William Beaumont Corewell Resident Training Program as an associate faculty member. Dr. Kraemer also holds a faculty appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. In 2011 he was awarded a Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following graduation from medical school, he completed a full internship in General Surgery and completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013. He has hospital privileges at St. John Hospital. Dr. Sclafani enjoys practicing all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dental alveolar procedures, dental implants, and trauma. His special interest is in sports dentistry. He is also a member of numerous state and national dental and medical organizations. Dr. Sclafani is married with two sons.   • Claude LeRose, DDS, MD, FACS

    Oral Surgeon

    Dr. LeRose has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented award-winning research both nationally and internationally on topics of oral pathology and facial reconstruction. He has also volunteered with the Healing the Children organization, helping to correct cleft lip and palate abnormalities in underserved children living in Colombia. He maintains a faculty position with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident training program at Henry Ford Warren Hospital, where he is actively involved in resident education, research, and clinical training, and earned recognition as the Clinical Instructor of the Year in 2020-2021. Dr. LeRose also serves as a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He holds staff hospital privileges at Henry Ford St. John Hospital and Medical Center, and Henry Ford Warren Hospital, and Henry Ford Rochester Hospital.

  • David Coviak, DDS, MD

    Oral Surgeon

    Dr. Coviak’s clinical interest is in the application of new technologies to the planning and execution of dentoalveolar and dental implants surgery. In all interactions with his patients, he places his patients’ well-being first and engages all members of their care teams in pursuit of their health and well-being. Dr. Coviak maintains certification in ACLS, and PALS, and is a BLS instructor. He is pleased to provide care to the residents of New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Richmond, Harrison Township, St. Clair, and Marine City in our New Baltimore office, in addition to the residents of Warren, Sterling Heights, Madison Heights, Royal Oak, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Eastpointe, Roseville, and Fraser out of our Warren office. Outside of work, Dr. Coviak enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and his two young children. He loves being outdoors and active, particularly in water sports, but he also has a passion for watching college sports.

Dr. Szandzik and his wife, Beta, are natives of Grosse Pointe Woods and are happy to be back home raising their young family.     As an oral pathologist, Dr. Essian is able to make both clinical and histopathologic diagnoses. This includes developmental, infectious, and often autoimmune-related conditions of the head and neck. She is certified in functional nutrition and laser safety in dentistry. Dr. Essian is very passionate about her field. Her long-term goal is to improve the overall health and well-being of patients living with chronic disease.
